What you should know about hotelsESPAÑOL You'll find all types of 3-5 star hotels (called hoteles) throughout Bolivia. Two-star accommodations are usually called "residenciales" and 1-star or completely unrated inns are "alojamientos". There are plenty of hostels (hostales), resorts and eco-resorts (named the same in Spanish), vacation rentals (usually called "cabañas") and even campgrounds where you can pitch your tent (campamentos). "Moteles" are not the same thing as "motels" in the U.S. They usually rent rooms "by the hour".Please be forewarned that in Bolivia having "stars" may not necessarily mean the company has actually been rated, qualified or registered.
