First Hand Bolivia Facts
Bolivia Bella is unique: it provides facts primarily about the Eastern region of the country, specifically the Department of Santa Cruz although the huge Bolivia Facts section provides lots of country data. In addition we're currently adding information on destinations in Beni (and soon in Tarija!)
Although I'm actually an expatriate, I grew up, and have lived, worked and traveled in different parts of the country throughout the past 30 years. I'm a first-generation TCK (third culture kid), perpetual tourist, sometimes travel writer, and global nomad mom. You can read more about me here. Real Facts and Information from Real People
I built this site for three reasons: 1) there are already hundreds of sites about Western Bolivia and very little has been done to promote beautiful Eastern Bolivia, 2) there are few sites written in real English, and 3) there are virtually NO sites that provide completely first hand, personally researched information. And isn't that what you really want? You'll find personal recommendations and shared experiences.
You can search for information based on what kind of traveling you do! I've gone to great lengths to include highly organized, narrowly targeted facts and information in English for tourists, businesspeople and professionals, students, volunteers, and global nomads or expatriates looking to live in Bolivia.
