Questions about Professional Work in Santa Cruz

My name is Robert (29 years old) and my wife (Bolivian citizen) and I will be moving to Santa Cruz with our daughter in the coming months. There is lots of excitement in our house right now! I've been to Santa Cruz many times and feel like I have a good grip on what to expect culturally and with the change of language but do not know what to expect from a professional environment standpoint.

A little work history: I've been in transportation and Logistics for 4 years, 2 of them with J.B. Hunt in operations management. I can read, write, and speak Spanish fairly well. I've not had to do so in more than a semi-professional environment but with a little practice could do so.

I'm wanting to look for a job to start fairly soon after our arrival (March-April 2019). I'm not necessarily looking for something in my field, although it would be nice. I also know the financial compensation may not be comparable to what we are used to. Does anyone have any tips for finding a professional job in Santa Cruz or any good resources to utilize? It's probably early with our arrival date not being until early 2019 but I don't really know where to start and want to be prepared.
