My friends are retiring and want to use their many years of pipefitting skills

My friends are retired shipyard pipefitters. They want to use their skills to help those less fortunate; travel someplace adventurous, and would be perfect for drinking water, plumbing, irrigation, and all types of piping, pumping, or water projects. They are retired so have valuable experience but are not young. They would only speak a little Spanish. I just returned from visiting La Chiquitania and told them how wonderful Bolivia is and how much some villages could use some help.
