Los Cedros Hotel in Santa Cruz Bolivia

Los Cedros is a lovely hotel perched atop a hillside that overlooks the valley and sierras below, about 45 minutes from the city along the road that goes through La Guardia to Samaipata. It's a very large hotel complex with several big conference rooms and individual cabanas that have great views. It also has nice pools, one with long slides for kids. The food was good but the restaurant was very warm. We had to walk a fairly long distance to the restaurant, which also has a small snack bar below it and overlooks a large pool. There's one building you have to reach by walking over a long wooden hanging bridge that spans a gulch which offers an interesting photo opportunity. It's nice if you want to spend a weekend away from the city in a resort atmosphere. Overall it was a nice experience to visit.
