Please tell me if the Hotel Rey Palace is at a lower altitude than the Presidente. What about are the altitudes of each?? You suggest sleeping in the Calocoto area, but I don't know where that is or what hotels are there. Thanks very much. Barbara
You might want to take a look at these hotels in the southern zone of La Paz. All are very nice and get good reviews on international traveler forums. The Río Selva is more of a family-style resort.
