Repatriation Flight Options to the United States and Brazil on April 29th and May 4th, 2020


Location: Bolivia. Event: Repatriation Flight Options. Boliviana de Aviacion (BoA) airlines has announced a flight from La Paz (LPB), Cochabamba (CBB), and Santa Cruz (VVI) to Miami (MIA) on Wednesday, April 29. U.S. Citizens and  LPRs wanting to reserve seats and make payment for this flight should contact BoA at www.boa.bo. This is a solidarity flight organized by BoA airlines.

Additionally, cooperating embassies in Bolivia are arranging a repatriation flight for all nationalities from Bolivia to Sao Paulo, Brazil on May 4, 2020. The flight will connect La Paz (LPB) and Santa Cruz (VVI) to Sao Paulo (GRU) airport. The estimated price per passenger is $600. Passengers will need to arrange for their onward travel from GRU to their home countries prior to the May 4 flight. U.S. Embassy La Paz cannot provide transportation from home to airport on the day of these flights, and does not control luggage or pet restrictions for these flights or any onward travel.

National quarantine measures remain in effect in Bolivia through April 30, 2020.  

Actions to Take:

Complete a Registro de Pasajeros Form to reserve and make payment on the April 21 flight to MIA.
