Repatriation Flight from Bolivia to Miami April 21, 2020


US Embassy message for Americans wishing to leave Bolivia: Location: Bolivia. Event: Confirmed Repatriation Flight Tuesday, April 21, 2020.


The repatriation flight for U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (LPR) mentioned in our message of April 16, is now confirmed to depart Bolivia on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 to Miami (MIA).  U.S. Citizens and  LPRs wanting to reserve seats and make payment for this flight should contact Tropical Tours and fill out Registro de Pasajeros form immediately.  

The flights will connect from La Paz (LPB), Cochabamba (CBB), and Santa Cruz (VVI).  For passengers departing out of CBB and VVI, the cost is approximately $1,500. For passengers needing a connecting flight from LPB to VVI, there will be an additional cost of between $250 and $500 depending on the number of passengers.

There is no guarantee that future repatriation flight opportunities will be available following April 21. U.S. citizens and LPRs not interested in immediate return to the U.S. should be prepared to remain in Bolivia until quarantine measures are lifted and regular commercial international travel is possible. 

National quarantine measures remain in effect in Bolivia through April 30, 2020.  

Actions to Take:

Complete a Registro de Pasajeros form to reserve and make payment on the April 21 flight to MIA.
