Ice cream parlors are especially popular in Santa Cruz because we enjoy hot weather during nine or ten months of the year. You’ll find some unusual flavors here because we have so many exotic fruits and spices.

Ice Cream Shops in Bolivia

Besides traditional flavors like chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry you’ll also find pomegranate, papaya and watermelon ice creams and sherbets. If you’re especially adventurous, try guayaba, guapurú, achachairú or maracuya, or one of dozens of other mixed flavors. Most parlors also offer baked goods and cakes (you can order them delivered for special occasions) and some offer full lunch and dinner menus. Many have large play areas for children as well.
