May 7 through 10 within Bolivia: Amaszonas airlines announced a series of humanitarian flights to transport passengers domestically within Bolivia between May 7 and May 10, 2020. These flights will connect La Paz (LPB), Cochabamba (CBB), and Santa Cruz (VVI), Rurrenabaque (RBQ), Riberalta (RIB), Trinidad (TDD), Tarija (TJA), Sucre (SRE) and Cobija (CIJ). Tickets can be purchased directly at www.amaszonas.com.

May 11 to Mexico City, Mexico: BoA airlines has announced a repatriation flight connecting the cities of Cochabamba (CBB), La Paz (LPB), and Santa Cruz (VVI), Bolivia with Mexico City (MEX), Mexico for May 11, 2020. The announced price per passenger is $695 plus the international departure tax, which is paid separately. Passengers will need to arrange for their onward travel from MEX to the United States prior to the May 11 flight. Payment can only be made via bank transfer or cash deposit (no credit or debit cards). Interested passengers should contact ConsularLaPazACS@State.gov before May 7 for details on how to register and pay.

May 10 to Sao Paulo, Brazil: Amaszonas airlines has announced an repatriation flight connecting the cities of La Paz (LPB) and Santa Cruz (VVI), Bolivia with Sao Paulo (GRU), Brazil for May 10, 2020. The announced price per passenger is $600. Passengers will need to arrange for their onward travel from GRU to their home countries prior to the May 10 flight. Interested passengers should contact Amaszonas airlines immediately at atencionalcliente@amaszonas.com or via Whatsapp message at +591 62077188 for details and to reserve seats. U.S. citizens and LPRs intending to take this flight should notify the Embassy at ConsularLaPazACS@state.gov, in addition to contacting Amaszonas airlines.

U.S. Embassy La Paz cannot provide transportation from home to airport on the day of these flights, and does not control luggage or pet restrictions for these flights or any onward travel. Passengers may be subject to additional quarantine restrictions and/or health screenings upon arrival and should inquire with the airlines or local authorities at their destination.

Regular commercial international and domestic flights in Bolivia remain suspended through May 31, 2020.
