Would being HIV positive exclude me from being granted Bolivian residency?

I am hoping to move to Bolivia. I am a single male in my late 40s, retired with steady pension income and adequate savings. I am, however, HIV positive. I am healthy without HIV related medical issues, but I am aware that an HIV test is required as part of the process. My question, does a positive result for HIV automatically exclude the possibility of permanent residency?

HIV positive may exclude you from residency

It is possible. One of the requirements for the residency application is an HIV/AIDS test which, if results are positive, MAY mean you would not be given residency in Bolivia.
