Where can I Find Jesuit Baroque Choral Sheet Music

by Robin

I sing in a choir in England, called the Allegri Singers. Next season, we are working on a concert of South American choral music. Are any of the Jesuit Baroque works available as sheet music?

Many thanks, Robin

I have heard so many Baroque music from the different places. But the Bolivian baroque music is a special and has a natural allure. You can find the music traditions practising in the main churches of Bolivia. I wish I could hear it again.

Contact APAC - Baroque Music Festival Organizers

You can contact APAC. They organize the International Baroque and Renaissance Music Festival every two years in the Jesuit Missions of Chiquitos, where over 5000 hand-written sheets of music were found preserved by the natives. They are working to help restore them. Not sure if copies are available for sale, but you could ask for Cecilia Kenning (president and founder of APAC) who speaks English. This year's international baroque music festival just finished yesterday and it was spectacular! You should sign up your choral group to participate in 2014.
