Want visa details for returning tourist

by Jim Goodson
(Benson, AZ - USA)

Early in 2010 I spent a month in La Paz visiting my daughter. I paid $135 and gave them a photo with a Visa app (?) in the La Paz airport. They stamped my passport with a stamp that said it was good for 5 years. OK. In November, I will be coming back for a longer stay; both to see more of Bolivia and to buy Pineapple upside down cake at Bella's bakery in Santa Cruz.

QUESTIONS: ¿Will I need a new Visa app. with a photo? ¿Will I need to pay $135 again? ¿When I pass GO will I get my $200?

Thank you very much for providing this site. The cultures and food sections are worth the price of admission. free is hard to beat. I am a 76 year old man in the midst of a late life crisis, which is NOT a crisis. I look forward to running in the Plazas and cobblestone streets of La Paz again soon.

Thank you for your help,

Jim Goodson

Visa details for returning tourist
by: BoliviaBella

Hello Jim. Thanks for your lovely comments about the site.

VISA:
Your visa is good until the expiration date on the visa sticker and Americans usually do get 5 years. (You just have to remember not to spend more than 90 days in Bolivia during each of those 5 years.) Just to be sure, what expiration date does the tourist visa sticker on your passport have?

PINEAPPLE CAKE:
Remember NutriDiva is by order only - so let us know when you visit Santa Cruz and I'll be sure to fire up the ovens. :-)
