Video: The Jesuit Missions of Chiquitos, Bolivia

The 2013 Jesuit Missions of Chiquitos, Bolivia Seasonal Baroque Music and Theater Festival kicked off last night in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Over the course of the next three days, over 20 baroque music concerts will be given in several of Bolivia's famed Jesuit Mission Towns, located North and East of the city of Santa Cruz. Orchestras and choirs specializing in baroque music will play in San Jose de Chiquitos, San Ignacio de Velasco, San Xavier, Concepcion, Urubicha, Robore, San Miguel, Santa Ana and Santiago de Chiquitos. The festival is organized by APAC (Asociacion Pro Arte y Cultura) of Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
