The Chile earthquake telethon raised more than twice its goal!

Chile set a goal of $15 billion Chilean pesos for its telethon to help reconstruct the country. By the end of two days over $30.2 billion had been raised from all over the world, but most of that amount was raised by Chileans and Chilean companies.

In addition, it was announced that looters who had broken into stores throughout the week were so wrought with guilt, they took what they stole BACK and returned it!!
