Looking for independent travelers: Salar de Uyuni 2019

I am a South African backpacker who really dislikes packaged tours. Looking for fellow independent travelers who would like to do the Salt Flats in Salar de Uyuni without a tour.

I’d like to either:

1. Take a public bus from Uyuni to see the Salt Flats. It would be nice to have at least one fellow traveler with me especially for the fun Salt Flat photoshoots we could do. We could do it over one or two days.

Or

2. Hire a car in Sucre and do a more comprehensive tour of the Salar over 3 or 4 days. For this I would need 3 or 4 other people to share the car rental cost as it isn’t cheap.

I would like to do this sometime between 16 - 20 August 2019. Please let me know if you are interested to join me.
