There are no hotels in San Rafael. San Rafael is a very tiny town about one hour from San Ignacio de Velasco. Usually people stay in San Ignacio and do a day tour through Santa Ana, San Rafael, and San Miguel and return to San Ignacio in the afternoon. If you are touring on your own, or want the experience of staying in a remote town, there are three places to stay. Be prepared for the bare basics. Bring your own food and drinks.
