Jesuit Missions: Hotels in San Rafael

Review hotels and hostels in Bolivia

Jesuit Missions Home Page | Tourism | Santa Cruz | Plan Your Trip

There are no hotels in San Rafael. San Rafael is a very tiny town about one hour from San Ignacio de Velasco. Usually people stay in San Ignacio and do a day tour through Santa Ana, San Rafael, and San Miguel and return to San Ignacio in the afternoon. If you are touring on your own, or want the experience of staying in a remote town, there are three places to stay. Be prepared for the bare basics. Bring your own food and drinks. After your stay, tell us about your experience in our Bolivia Hotel Review.

Bolivian hotels are kind of “all over the place” when it comes to listing themselves on booking sites so that you can make reservations online. You’ll find almost all of the 4 and 5 star hotels in Bolivia on most of the major hotel reservation websites that are well-known worldwide. But smaller Bolivian hotels aren’t as organized about their online presence. They are more likely to be on Tripadvisor, which has become very well-known in the Bolivian hospitality industry by word of mouth. Below is a list of hotels in San Rafael. Check for them on Tripadvisor and Trivago. If they aren’t listed, you’ll need to make a reservation directly.
