 visiting to explore moving to cochobomba

Hi I just read the post on finding american or canadian contacts in cochabamba.

I also am planning to visit Cochabamba this late Oct to scout out the area for relocation next year. This would be my initial visit.

Would be very thankful for any advice provided as to reasonable & safe places to stay, areas to visit contact.
