Can a Foreigner Enlist for Bolivian Military Service?

Hi, Im from Australia and have great interest in living in Bolivia however I do not intend to retire, marry, find work or create a business at this moment. I am however very eager to volunteer in the Bolivian military and also as a means to gain citizenship. What visa is required for one to be able to enlist in the Bolivian military and are there any requirements?

You first need to get a visa and only a temporary visa is required. You would have to go to a Bolivian embassy or go to the country itself. You need to have a background check among other things. Now to enlist you would just go to a recruitment office but make sure you can speak Spanish. They will not mitigate for a non-Spanish speaker. Good luck.
