Visa for Malaysian Tourist to Bolivia

by Shanthi
(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)

I wish to travel to Bolivia, and am a Malaysian passport holder. I wish to get my visa prior to travel and not at entry as I have been advised I should do so. Does anyone have the closest Bolivian Embassy to Malaysia, and the contact details for such embassy please?

Many thanks
Shanthi

Hi,

I am a malaysian passport holder looking to travel to bolivia from Peru. I have read in several places and there has been conflicting advice. During the month of Dec 2015, will i be able to get the visa upon arrival or do I have to apply 1 day in advance at the consulate?
Look forward to your reply

Bolivian Visa
by: Anonymous

We are Malaysian passport holders and do have US tourist visas as well. We plan to travel into Bolivia for a few days via San Pedro (Chile) to Uyuni (Bolivia). Can we get a Bolivian Tourist Visa at the border and how much does it cost?

We appreciate an early reply. Thank you.

Tourist Visa for Malaysian
by:

Your country belongs to Group number II, of group of countries in bolivia, that means you can obtain tourist Visa upon arrival in the airport.
Unless you want to stay longer than 90 days. If so, you need to have Special Purpose Visa, that has to be required in any Bolivian embassy or consular agency.

Bolivia Visa for Malaysian Tourists

by Ean
(Malaysia)

Greetings from Malaysia! We are two Malaysian ladies who will be visiting South America in August. As Malaysia do not have a Bolivia Consulate, we really need advice on how to obtain our visa to Bolivia as we really really desire to see your beautiful country. Before arriving Bolivia, we will be in Sao Paulo, Rio De Janerio, Buenos Airea, Lima and Cusco. Please advise us, first of all, where to get the yellow fever vaccination and which place would be the most convenient to apply and obtain the visa. It is extremely difficult to find yellow fever vaccination in Malaysia. We hope that the visa can be ready within 1 day as we are only staying a few days in each of the places mentioned above.

Looking forward to your kind reply.

With much gratitude
Ean and Yvonne

Bolivia Visa for Malaysian Tourists (2)

by Ean
(Malaysia)

I just read that Malaysia is under Group 2 which means that we can get visa upon arrival. We will be taking the bus from Puno to Copacabana in August and would like to know whether we are able to obtain our Bolivia visa at the Kasani border crossing.

Our places of visit are Copacabana, La Paz, Cochabama and Uyuni. Do we need yellow fever vaccination for these places? Definitely not going near Amazon.

Thank you.
