World People's Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth 20-22 April 2010
The World People's Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth is underway at this time in Tiquipaya, a town near Cochabamba, Bolivia. Citizens and organizations from all over the world have gathered to participate in this conference, convoked by Bolivian President Evo Morales in response to the disappointing results of the Climate Conference in Copenhaguen last year.
Approximately 15,000 participants are working in groups both in person in Tiquipaya and online from all over the world. If you speak Spanish, you can follow the conference live online.
