by KT

I am a single mother. I want to relocate to a different country. I live in the United States right now. Eventually I would like to find a country that is perfect for me and my son.

Immigrations requirements
by: Uncle Darrell

Coming here on a tourist visa or if you intend to become a Bolivian resident are two completely different processes. Visiting on a limited tourist visa is very easy, becoming a resident is not. Your first step is to visit the Bolivian Embassy or Consulate nearest you and explain EXACTLY your intentions. You cannot convert a tourist visa to a resident visa once in Bolivia.

Just email me there with any questions, and I'll do my best to answer them, but Charis has lots more info (when she has time, she is super busy, but super nice!)

Relocating to Bolivia
by: Pacing

I am a single mother of two that has considered relocating for 3 years. I am now ready to get serious with my search and would like to have a plan intact by Jan 2012.

My biggest concern is education for my boys and safety. Work and housing follows. I would love any information you are willing to share. Good or bad.

Previous poster, I would love to hear more about your experience with Bolivia. I consider myself middle class. Or as my brother calls it "a low budget high roller" ;)

I think Bolivia is perfect!
by: LorriAnne

I am a single mom, too, and we were in Bolivia in late 2009. I wish we had never come back here to the USA. When we were there, we were in Santa Cruz, Ixiamas, La Paz, Rurrenabaque and a few other places. We both wish we had stayed there. You can talk to me if you want. My email is the same as my name and @ gmail DOT com if you want to contact me.
