Summary: Transportes Aereos Militares (TAM) is a Bolivian government military airline that also offers civilian flights. It operates between Santa Cruz, Cochabamba, La Paz and numerous other small intermediate cities. Not to be confused with Transportes Aereos del Mercosur also known as TAM.

Airline Information

Transportes Aereos Militares (TAM) is Bolivia's military airline. However it provides civilian flights between major and intermediate cities and is usually lower priced than some of the flagship airlines. It operates mainly out of El Trompillo airport in southern Santa Cruz but some flights depart from Viru Viru International Airport in the northern part of the city. All other cities it flies from have only one airport.

Because it has smaller planes as well as large ones, it flies to some of the small towns that don't have full-sized airports. Currently it services Rurrenabaque, Guayaramerín, Cobija, Cochabamba, Huacaraje, Baure, Magdalena, Puerto Suárez, Reyes, Riberalta, Santa Ana, Santa Rosa, San Ramón, San Joaquín, San Borja, Santa Cruz, Sucre, Tarija, Trinidad, Yacuiba.
