The following is a listing of train stations and train ticket purchase points in Bolivia. Bolivia has two railway systems, which are not connected. Ferroviaria Occidental serves Western Bolivia and the mountainous, Andean region. Ferroviaria Oriental serves Eastern Bolivia and the tropical region. Most train stations in Bolivia are open Monday - Friday from 9:00 - 12:30 a.m. (closed over the noon siesta hours) and reopen 2:30 - 5:00 p.m. They are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as holidays.
