Traditional Foods and Handcrafts Too!

Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th of September, 2009 at the Parque Urbano (southern side of Santa Cruz) beginning at 10:00 a.m. you can enjoy traditional cruceno foods during the Festival de Comidas Tipicas Crucenas. There will be a contest among cooks so they're going all out to prepare the best of this department's typical foods. Tourists and families should definitely visit as there will also be traditional games, music and dances. I went this morning just so I could take photos for you.
