It's also located about 15 minutes from the American Cooperative School (located in the posh neighborhood of Las Palmas). These are two of the best English language private schools in Santa Cruz.

The short distance from Santa Cruz along this 4-lane highway makes trips to the city for shopping or dining out easy and convenient. There are also several very large supermarkets and major gas stations just down the road.
