There's also a store called Dismac. They have several locations. On is on the corner of Plazuela Blacutt, kitty corner from the Fidalga grocery store or just call 104 (information) for their phone number.

you can also go to Av. Bush and 3er anillo, in front of Sonilum or I.C. Market, there are lots of specialty stores that normally accept card payments. You can find Maxi King for bedroom stuff, then there are furniture stores next door, you just have to take a look at them.

try multicenter by: Anonymous
One place would be Multicenter. You could even pay some of their expensive goods in 6 or 12 monthly payments depending on the bank that issued the card.

On 24 de Septiembre there is a store called Salvatierra Imports. I think it's near the corner of Rafael Peña. There you can find refrigerators, stoves, etc.
On Santa Barbara street you'll find several all in a row (this is near 7 calles and all the taxis know it). There you'll find a store called Santa Barbara and across the street another called Sony Gagofer. Both have fridges, stoves, washers, TVs, and all kinds of household items (we call them "electrodomésticos" in Spanish).
I believe all 3 stores above take credit cards.
For furniture stores that accept credit cards you'd need to go to the larger stores such as the Hiper Plaza, America Home Center, or Megacenter stores. Some of the smaller, more exclusive furniture stores might take cards. You'll find about five of them on Calle Saavedra near the CAINCO towers and on calle Moldes (the next street up) along a 5-6 block length between Tarija and Rene Moreno.
