Oktoberfest in November

Oktoberfest will be celebrated in November this year in Santa Cruz. You can attend on Saturday the 7th at the COE (Círculo de Oficiales del Ejercito) at the end of Avenida San Martin and the 4th ring (Equipetrol Norte). This year they'll be recreating a German town and expect at least 4000 to attend. CBN (Cerveceria Nacional Boliviana) will be sponsoring the event which will include attractions for family, a jazz band and local musicians beginning at midday. After 5:30 p.m. the Beerfest will begin (served only to those over 18 years of age) accompanied by several Bolivian bands. There will be beer drinking and hot dog eating contests as well. The entrance fee is Bs. 100 (V.I.P.) and Bs. 300 (lounge).
