Hi, I need some information about Bolivian cost living. Although there are some information in some sites, I need real and exact information about Bolivia, working there, investing and social safety. Also I want to know, can I find any job there (my last degree in MBA? How is Bolivian salary? Is there anyone to help me?

Cost of Living in Bolivia
by: David Boldt

You'd need to say more about HOW you intend to live here. We live the equivalent of an upper middle class life in the US here and figure it costs us a little more than 50% of the cost in the US. Housing is generally about half. But the big things you save on are things like dinner at a restaurant, movies,non-imported food, and the like. Buses, taxis are very inexpensive. But electronics, cameras, cars, and things like that are more. Also, prices are rising, and will continue to do so. Jobs are available at good salaries, but finding them requires a little luck, and it is better to be hired before you come here. Local hires get less than people recruited in their home countries. Starting a business is hard -- lots of paperwork and stupid bureaucracy -- but can be very lucrative. If you can, come here for a while to "test the waters."
