Hey everybody, Bella here. Santa Cruz Bolivia has been celebrating a very special bicentennial in 2010 with activities, events and festivities throughout the entire year.

In celebration of this great region, which produces fully 64% of all the food in Bolivia, Chef Noly (who writes our Wacataya Wednesdays food and recipes section every week) is going to introduce us to some of the history, culture and typical foods that are being lost as Santa Cruz, Bolivia's largest city, modernizes and grows.
