"This mirror frame was inspired by the minimalist art of the Chancay people, which in turn was inspired by the sea," explains Veronica Ossio. "The frame is crafted by hand, which required a lot of effort to ensure the slabs of polished green onyx and marble fitted perfectly together, like a jigsaw puzzle." Includes an iron chain for hanging, and an added protective glass pane on the back.

By Primitivo Evan�n, this charming wall mirror depicts scenes of everyday life in the Andes. Flowers and geometric motifs separate the intricate vignettes, painted in the style of the legendary tablas (chart, or board) of Sarhua. Captions in Spanish describe the activities, and the artist signs his work as "Tablas de Sarhua."

"This frame is inspired by the legendary art of the Chulucanas region, where the Inca people use black and white as points of reference. To me, this monochrome combination represents space through time, the light between dawn and dusk," explains Marco Florindez. Please note the mirror frame is photographed against a tinted background to contrast with the black and white frame.
