Minimum passport time validity to enter Bolivia?

What´s the minimum amount of time i need to have on my passport, before it expires, to enter Bolivia? Also, I plan to get my new passport sent there but it wont arrive until after my current one expires. Can I get the rest of my 3 month visa backdated on my new passport, or am I gonna have to pay the overstay fine for the in-between period?

Dear Sir,
The minimum amount of time you need to have on your passport before to enter Bolivia is 6 months.
If you get the visa in the old passport you should keep both, so you are not going to pay the overstay fine.
