The earthquake felt in Chile this morning was 1000 times stronger than the one felt in Haiti although thankfully there is less damage and fewer deaths. It registered at 8.8 on the Richter scale. The strongest earthquake ever registered in our history was also in Chile, in 1960 (9.5 on the Richter scale). Please consider helping Chile. And keep up with the news about possible damage by the tsunami it provoked as well. Bolivia and Chile don't have a friendly political history but it's time to put history behind us for good!!!
