learn the language

I moved to Santa Cruz Bolivia when I was three years old. My dad was a missionary pilot. He flew supplies to other missionary families who lived in the jungle. I went to the Christian Learning Center, where my mom was the Principle of the school. We still own our home in bolivia. There were only two private airstrips at that time. My dads was one of them. We lived seven kilometers outside of Santa Cruz on the Cochabamba Highway. I speak English and Spanish fluently, without an accent in either language because I learned the language as a child. When My dad was elected to be the Director of Missions (which meant moving to the United States) I was devastated. I did not want to leave. Bolivia was all I knew. My friends were in Bolivia. But most importantly I knew absolutely nothing about the united States. It took some time, but I adjusted well. I would love to go back and visit. I have never returned to Bolivia. One day soon, I plan to return to what I would call "HOME" .
