Jessika Borda Foundation and Santa Cruz Government Join Efforts to Fight Crime
July 2011. The Jessika Borda Foundation, led my Mrs. Rhea Borda, has signed an agreement to fight against crime with the government of the state of Santa Cruz to strengthen actions against delinquency in both the city and outlying provinces. Interim Urban Security Secretary, Gaspar Pedraza, explained that the goal of this agreement is to reinforce education and crime prevention in this state. To this end, the Jessika Borda Foundation will make a team of professionals in various social areas available and the state government will provide all the necessary logistics so they can travel to provincial areas. “From here forward we are going to work on these two important security components. Education and prevention will be priorities and we are joining forces to consolidate the tasks necessary to fight crime,” said Pedraza.
