There are a couple of good Japanese restaurants in Santa Cruz. The food they serve is authentic Japanese fare consisting of a lot of vegetables, seafood and rice, as well as sushi. There is a large, very united Japanese community in the Santa Cruz area, many of which are involved in agriculture. Others are very successful businesspeople.
