I've Visited San Pedro Prison

I was an american tourist in 2007 and visited the jail. While I didn't do any drugs inside the walls, many other tourists did cocaine with the prisoners inside the walls. For me the experience was amazing, frightening and confusing all at once. While I'm still confused about my own feelings of supporting the drug trade etc. I think it was an amazing experience to see how an essentially separate society functions on it's own terms.
