what did you do finally?

I'd be interested to know what you finally decided upon. Did you make them with corn starch, is that the only starch available in China? How did they turn out?

I made them once with potato starch, which i bought at WholeFoods and they were pretty good. Not the same, but not bad at all! We were just glad to have cuñapes at all.
