At the airport

I have been there couple of times and you don't need any prior visa. You pay for the visa at the airport itself and it is $50 for the Indian citizens. However, for the US citizens it is $125. But, the only thing is that mostly everybody would talk to you in Spanish at the airport. You might hardly find anybody who would talk in English. So, you might have to either take the help of co passengers who know both English and Spanish or practice the basic things like numbers etc in Spanish.

If you take cash with you there is an option to pay for the visa at the airport when you land. They give you paperwork in the plane generally if you need it, it is also available at airport customs. I believe it was $100 when I went.. maybe $130. Also make sure you take newer bills, they are sometimes picky about foreign exchange if the bills are worn.
