Hello: Is there a site that you can refer us to where trusted Bolivia manufactures are listed? We are looking for clothing manufactures plus we will like to contribute from our charity line of clothing to a much needed school or other in Bolivia. We are a NY base company.

Thanks much

I own a company that sells interlocking deck tiles and I currently purchase them from a supplier. The supplier is buying them from the manufacturer in Bolivia. Can anyone supply me with information on these manufacturers?

It is not a matter of right factory/ it is a metter of the right people.
by: Anonymous

I believe that it is a matter of people really. If your genuinely want to make a sucre the busines will give you satisfaction you have to find the right person. Some how people as many places, are easy to corrupt in every regard. But also in Bolivia, there still are people who you can trust. In let me tell you that in Bolivia there are lots of them. That is what matters.

Visit this web side for your porpouse. might help you.

Donating Clothing to Bolivia
by: BoliviaBella

If you'd like to donate clothing to Bolivia please consider visiting our Volunteer in Bolivia section where you can find various children's homes and other organizations that work with men, women and children, children who are growing up in prisons, children who are orphans, women miners and others - all of whom would probably LOVE to hear from you. Be aware they might have to pay import fees on any donations you make. Also there are restrictions on the import of used clothing so you'd have to speak with them about whether your donation would be used or new clothing.

Hope this was helpful!

Clothing Manufacturers in Bolivia
by: BoliviaBella

Your best bet is to probably contact the Chambers of Commerce. The National Chamber of Industry (Cámara Nacional de Industrias) has, on its website

www.bolivia-industry.com

the "Guía Directorio de la Industria Boliviana". If you click on that, then on the next page click on the little picture of the fabrics (it says "textiles, prendas de vestir y cueros") under it, it will bring up a list of different clothing and textile manufacturers in Bolivia on this page (scroll down to see each one by name along with its contact info). There are 79 companies listed.

The CÁMARA INDUSTRIAL BOLIVIANA DE CONFECCIÓN - CAINBOC is the clothing manufacturer's chamber:
cainboc@hotmail.com

If you don't speak any Spanish, consider contacting the AMERICAN-BOLIVIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE at

http://www.bolivia-us.org/

You might also consider contacting some of Bolivia's departmental Chambers of Industry:

CÁMARA DEPARTAMENTAL DE INDUSTRIA DE COCHABAMBA

CAMARA DEPARTAMENTAL DE INDUSTRIAS DE ORURO

http://caminor.galeon.com/main.html

CÁMARA DEPARTAMENTAL DE INDUSTRIAS - TARIJA

CAMARA DE INDUSTRIA COMERCIO Y SERVICIO DE TARIJA

caincotar@cosett.com.bo

CÁMARA DE INDUSTRIA, COMERCIO, SERVICIOS Y TURISMO DE SANTA CRUZ

CÁMARA DE INDUSTRIA Y COMERCIO CHUQUISACA
