Summary: Copa Airlines (also known as Copa Air or Compania Panamena de Aviacion) services the United States (via Continental Airlines), Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Colombia and Venezuela. And now Santa Cruz - Bolivia!
Calle Sucre Edificio La Pascana Local 3 Copa Airlines announced on 16 December 2008 that it has been authorized a new flight between Panama City and Santa Cruz. Flights depart Panama on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 8:42 pm, arriving in Santa Cruz at 2:27 am. The return flight will depart Santa Cruz on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday at 4:28 am, arriving in Panama at 8:43 am. Copa Airlines' shiny new office in Santa Cruz is located 1/2 a block from the central plaza, across the street from Lorca Café. Don't be confused when you see a Continental Airlines sign next to it. They do not service Bolivia at this time. But Copa and Continental work together on flights in the U.S. So if you are traveling to Bolivia from the US, you could use a Continental flight to Panama initially.
