In Chicago, September is one of my favorite months of the year because it is a transition month. September holds on to the warmth of summer while also giving us a peek into the promise of autumn. At this time of year while I look forward to the beauty and crispness of autumn, I realize I have to say good bye to some of my favorite fruits like watermelon. In honor of summer and fruits picked at the peak of their flavor today's Wacataya Wednesday recipe is for refreshing
Bolivian Fruit Salad (Ensalada de Frutas).
Thanks, Chef Noly.
