My husband and I are planning to move to Bolivia with in the next eight months. To process the visa, I will have to obtain an international background check. I had a misdeanor for battery five years ago. It was a stupid mistake. I never had any problems with the law before then and do not plan on having anymore. My question: could this affect our chances of being able to get the one year residency?
