Wow, today's post is an oldie but goodie! I think the dessert recipe Chef Noly is going to share with us today has been around for at least a century. It's also one of my favorite desserts! Sweet, light (as in fluffy and as in low-cal), great for hot days, easy to prepare: everything about this recipe is perfect. Some people eat this dessert all by itself. Others use it to top off other desserts.

This dessert is SO good it can be found anywhere in Latin America. It's actually several hundred years old and originally from France (from a town that has the same name) but during colonial times European influence on the Americas was very strong. I first learned to make and love this dessert when I was just 4 years old and living in Ecuador. I'm not even going to post a picture of it because I want you to try it for yourself. So the only hint I'm going to give you is that it's white and heavenly!
