On Friday, the 17th of June Bolivians in Tarija, Santa Cruz and La Paz will mobilize in support of Bolivia's forests. This tri-city event will take place at the Parque Temático in Tarija, at the Coliseo Cerrado in La Paz, and at the Parque Urbano in Santa Cruz, from 3-4 p.m. in all cities simultaneously. Participants will wear green and will carry signs reminding the population of the need to protect our forests. The United Nations named 2011 International Year of the Forests.
