Bolivia visa for my 6 month old son?

Hello, i have a situation. Please help. Im going to bolivia with my wife and son.
Im a bolivian/usa citizen so i dont need visa to enter,
my wife is from philippines so she also dont need visa to enter.
however my 6 month old son is traveling with usa passport. he has dual citizenship usa and philippines since he was born in philippines. usa citizenship because i was able to transfer that to him.

we live in singapore and there is no bolivian consulate here. i checked other countries near by and i also cant find bolivian embassy around here. because of this, im not able to get a bolivian visa prior my arrival to bolivia.

i have the application for bolivian visa, photographs, invitation letter from my father (we will stay with him in La Paz), bank statement.

My questions are, will i be able to get visa on arrival for my son once i arrive in la paz bolivia?

Im finding blogs with different results. some say can, some say can not.

Also, here in singapore they dont give yellow fever vaccines to infants below 2 years old. i and my wife do have yellow fever vaccines but my 6 month old son doesnt. this will be fine with bolivian imigration right?

Please advice. our travel data is near and im worry this will be a problem.

we are leaving to bolivia on july 14.

Get tourist Visa at the airport
by: Rebeca

Hello, I´m an attorney at law with BoliviaBella.com.
If you don´t have a chance to use a Philippine passport for your son, then use his American passport and get a tourist visa for him at the Bolivian airport upon arrival. He will get only a tourist Visa, not for residence application.
Also about the yellow Vaccine, don´t worry, you don´t need it anymore, because it was recently deleted from the entry requirements to Bolivia.
Any questions please contact me: rebecagonzales@gmail.com

Visa

You should be able to get a tourist visa upon arrival to the airport in La Paz. I know that up until at least April of this year they were still granting tourist visas in the airport in Santa Cruz. I haven't heard that they have changed that. And it would stand to reason that La Paz would have the same service. Just make sure you have all of the necessary documents for the tourist visa. It sounds like you have most, if not all, of them already.

Your son should not need the yellow fever vaccine until he is older. Do not worry about that part. If you want to just be safe, you can get a statement from the doctor saying that infants are not vaccinated for yellow fever in Singapore. I don't think you will need it, but it might make you feel better just to have it to show the airline or whatever.

Happy travels!

If your son is dual Philippine and American, and Philippines do not need a visa, why doesn't your son travel on his Philippine passport?
