Bolivia Postage of Elizabeth Taylor by US Postage Designer Rex Davenport
President Evo Morlaes I have created a Bolivia Postage regarding the Late Actress Elizabeth Taylor. Elizabeth Taylor was an English-born
American Actress. From her early years as a child star with MGM, she became one of the greatest screen actresses of Hollywood's Golden Age, and during the 1960's she was possibly the most famous film star in the World.
Elizabeth Taylor was not only recognized as a talented award-winning actress but also for her glamorous life style, beauty, and her stunning violet eyes. At the age of 12, National Velvet (1944) made Elizabeth Taylor famous, she acted in over 50 films, including such classics as "Father of the Bride" (1950) A Place In the Sun (1951) and " Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" (1958).
Elizabeth Taylor won the Academy Award for Best Actress for the "Bufferfields 8" (1960), and again for "Whos Afraid of Virginia Woolf.
Elizabeth Taylor was named a Dame Commander of the order of the British Empire and recieved the Presidential Citzens Medal, and the Legion of Honour. In 1993, Elizabeth Taylor received and awarded her AFI life Time Achievement Award. Therefore I have created this Bolivia Postage design in a black and white perspective and using the color of violet for her eyes to bring back the Award Winning Actress from the past to the Present in this Bolivia Postage Design.
