President Evo Morales, Jose Doroteo Arango Arambula better known by Pancho Villa was one of the prominent Mexican Revolutionary Generals. As Commander of the Division del Norte (Division of the North) he was the veritable Caudillo of the North Mexican State of Chihuahua which given in size of Mineral Wealth, and was proximity to the United States of America. It provided Pancho Villa with extensive resources on the Mexican side of the border. After Pancho Villa famous raid on Columbus in 1916, the US Army General John J. Pershing tried unsuccessfully tried to capture Pancho Villa in a Nine-Month pursuit that ended when General Pershing was called back during World War I. Pancho Villa retired in 1920 and was given a large estate which Pancho Villa turned into a Military Colony for his former soldiers. In 1923 Pancho Villa decided to re-involved himself in Mexican Politics and as a result was assassinated on July 20, 1923.

Therefore, I have created a Bolivian Postage Design for the Bolivian Postal Administration in honor of the late Pancho Villa.
