Not a lot of frill to Beatrice Fresh Pasta (LPB) but the plates are incomparable! This is a straight forward artisan's restaurant. Owner/chef Marco Schiapparoli from Milano, Italia knows his craft - handmade fresh pastas and sauces. So complete is the concentration on pasta, there's not even a salad on the menu! You're a Pasta Fanatic? GOOD! You've found a kindred spirit in Chef Marco! And the prices are surprisingly low...

Beatrice Fresh Pasta! The Best in Bolivia! No other is even in the same class. And the wine selection is rather note worthy, too!

This is definitely the best place to have pasta in Bolivia!!!! low prices, high quality. Not to mention the wine selection they have, amazing. When I was in La Paz I used to go every week and never had a complain about this place.
The restaurant itself is pretty simple, they play great Italian music and have gorgeous paintings in the walls and most importantly the food...is.. WOW!!!!!!

There are not too much options for desserts, Tiramisu and Panna Cotta but they are absolutely delicious. The coffee they serve is the best of La Paz, it was really hard for me to find good coffee in La Paz, I've been to a lot...a lot A LOT of places to try it..but they just don't know how to prepare it. In Beatrice they do. Great attention, the owner is always there, he is from Italy he is very nice, (he sings sometimes while cooking hahaha) and make sure everything is perfect for you. There are a few places that I trust for their cleanliness but this place is very very clean, thumbs up for Beatrice!!!! Enjoy it if you are there...now that I dont live in La paz...I just miss it...
