Amaszonas in Bolivia

Amaszonas is a national airline in Bolivia with operations that include charter services and flights to some of the more remote destinations in Bolivia and some smaller cities not currently covered by larger airlines.

True to the play on words in its name (a mas zonas, meaning “to more zones”) the airline flies between La Paz, Santa Cruz, and Cochabamba, and from there covers mostly northern destinations in Bolivia’s Amazonas (the country's rainforest region) including Rurrenabaque, Guayaramerín, Cobija, San Borja, Trinidad, and Riberalta.

This small but growing airline is modern and offers very competitive prices. In addition, on its website it offers special discounts for which it has contracted with area hotels and restaurants. There is no self-check in or curb-side check in for this airline at airports in Bolivia. It operates out of El Trompillo national airport in Santa Cruz.
